Who are we?
Welcome to the website of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF for short) at the University of Toronto! We are an officially recognized U of T club, based at the downtown St. George Campus. On this website you can find out about our activities for the 2008-2009 school year, our current constitution, information about our executives, and lots of other useful information about Orthodoxy in Toronto.
Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship is to put on events that allow students to learn about God through down to earth discussions and practice their faith through prayer and liturgical worship. Equally importantly, it is a place for those curious about and interested in Christian Orthodoxy to meet like-minded individuals, investigate the faith, and have their questions answered in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Lastly, we aim to glorify God by enjoying each other’s company through fun social events.
Who can attend?
The OCF is open to everyone, regardless of age, university affiliation or religious creed. Non-students or those not connected with the University of Toronto are as welcome to join as U of T students. However, this ministry is geared towards students, and our activities are planned with this in mind.
