Below are some links to great sites that we have found, had recommened to us, or are generally using on a regular basis. We’re sure, however, that there must be more great sites out there, so if you know of more, please let us know at ocfuoft@gmail.com .
- The Dynamic Horologion and Psalter - http://orthodox.seasidehosting.st/home
- The Horologion is one of the service books of the Orthodox Church, which indicates what services should be said at every hour of the day. The dynamic horologion, located at this web site, updates automatically according to the viewer’s time, and shows what services would be going on at that particular time.
- The Psalter is a book containing all the psalms, and outside of Great Lent, it is normally read through in its entirety once a week. The psalms are read in order, in blocks called Kathismas.
- If you ever wonder what service is going on right now at an Orthodox monastery near you, or if you would like hold an Orthodox service but don’t know what to put in, this site can help (though we also recommend consulting with an Orthodox priest).
- Ancient Faith Radio – http://ancientfaith.com/
- This fantastic internet radio station is run by through the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of North America.
- From their website: Ancient Faith Radio exists to supplement the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic church with on line audio programming of music, prayers, readings, lectures and interviews.
- They broadcast 24hrs/day, on two channels – one with primarily music, and one with talk shows and podcasts.
- Podoben – http://www.podoben.com
- This site contains PDFs of Orthodox Liturgical music, for public services, private services, and organized by type of service. An excellent resource for those who know how to read music.
